How we use your details
Whether you received an email from Veraya or booked a call with us, this page explains who we are, where your details came from, why we hold them, and which rights you have.
Who is responsible
Veraya is in the process of forming its company in the United Arab Emirates. Until it exists, its founder, Katia Zaddi, is the data controller: she decides how your details are used and answers every request about them. Contact: contact@verayacontracts.com. Once formed, our company replaces her as data controller, and we will update this notice.
What we hold about you
- Your name, job title, company and business email address.
- Public information about your company, with its source.
- Our email exchanges, and any request to be removed from our list.
- Where a call is booked: its date, your booking-form answers and, with consent, notes or a recording of the conversation.
An automated note-taker (Google Meet) is used, and a call recorded, only with your consent, requested as the conversation begins. Notes remain in Veraya's Google account; recordings are kept there for 30 days. Both serve solely to follow up on our conversation.
Where your details come from
From publicly available business sources and business-contact providers. Our records keep the source for each person. Booking details come directly from you, through the booking form.
Why we hold your details, and on what basis
We wrote to you in your professional capacity, to present a service relevant to your company. Where European data protection law applies, the basis is our legitimate interest in offering a business service to a business contact, balanced by your right to object at any time. We write only a limited number of times and stop upon request.
Where you book a call, we process your details at your request, to prepare and conduct it, as a step before any contract. The booking-form questions are optional. Notes and recordings of a call are kept only with your consent, which may be withdrawn at any time. No decision concerning you is made solely by automated means, including profiling.
How to stop our emails
To stop our emails, reply to any of them saying so, or write to contact@verayacontracts.com. Your address is removed within two working days and kept only on a do-not-contact list, so that you are never contacted again.
How long we keep your details
We keep your details for 12 months after our last exchange, or longer if you ask us to stay in touch, then delete them. If you have asked us to stop, only your email address is retained, on our do-not-contact list, so that no further contact follows. If you become a client, our agreement sets the period.
Who receives your details
Your details are shared only with service providers that assist Veraya, bound by confidentiality and acting on our instructions, chiefly Google, which hosts the email, calendar and records. We never sell your details, nor share them for another party's marketing.
Transfers outside your country
Our providers, including Google, may store your details outside your country, including in the United States. Where European or UK data protection law applies, such transfers rely on our providers' certification under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension, or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses; details of these safeguards are available on request at contact@verayacontracts.com.
Your rights
You may request access to the details we hold, together with their correction, deletion, restricted use or transfer in a portable format, and object to our emails at any time. Requests are sent to contact@verayacontracts.com and answered within one month. Where we rely on your consent, it may be withdrawn without affecting prior use. If European or UK data protection law applies, a complaint may also be lodged with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL; in the United Kingdom, the ICO).
Cookies and tracking
